PO Mike Sileo who worked in Brooklyn North in the 1970's

. . . working a radio car in the 1970's . . . in front of the old 87 on Herbert Street circa 1979-80 the building was home to the Brooklyn North Task Force force for a number of years, that's a Plymouth Volare RMP in the photo DATE: 01/27/1978, Confines of 77 PCT PO Sileo and his partner PO Riccardi on the left were ambushed with shots fired thru the rear of the radio car while doing paperwork in front of St Mary's Hospital. The perp who had shot a PO a week earlier attempted to kill both officers with a gun stolen in the assault.
